Kool Fruit chat
The bright, colorful, and refreshing fruit chaat is a perfect starter to a Ramadan Iftar meal.

Direction || How to prepare fruit chat
Make scoops of watermelon, musk melon with a scooper.
In a cup take finely chopped apple and banana and add chat masala and mix it well.
Now fill the mixed fruits in the scoops, and tamarind sauce, pomegranate and garnish with sev.
Your cool fruit chat is ready.
Tips:
You can add any fruits of your choice to fill in the scoop like strawberry, papaya, orange and kiwi.
Seekh kabeb
Seekh Kebabs is a recipe inspired from middle eastern tradition and terrific appetizers made from chicken or goat meat,they can also be served as side dish with the main meal.
Since most of us don’t have ovens, most of us don’t try this easy recipe to make them at home , but you can prepare this dish by frying too. I tried out both the method
grilled it in oven and by frying and trust me both came out with good taste.

Ingredients
500 Grams of chicken/goat meat mince
2 Large Cardamom (Black, ground large)
1-2 Cardamoms (small, green, ground)
2-3 Springs of Fresh coriander
½ tsp of Garam masala powder
½ tsp of Chilli powder
½ tsp of Cumin seeds (whole)
1 tsp of Dry coriander
2 Large Onions
5 Garlic cloves(large)
1.5 Ginger stick
½ Beaten egg
1 Cup Bread crumps (optional)
salt to taste
Method
Directions | How to make Seekh Kebab
1.Chop onions,garlic,garlic and coriander.
2.Put all the mince chicken in a large bowl and add chopped onions, garlic, ginger, coriander.
3. Add large cardamons,green cardamons,garam ,chilli powder,dry coriander and chilli powder to the prepared mixure
and grind it together,add beaten eggs and bread crumps to it and mix thoroughly with either your hand or a wooden spoon.
4. Take a large hand-full of mixture and flatten it on the barbeque skewer,if skewer is not available then wooden spoon can be used instead.
5. Preheat the oven at about 420 degree farenhiet.Once the oven is preheated,put foil on to your grill and put your kebabs over the hot grill.
6. Set the kebab’s in the oven and let it cook for 20-25 minutes or until coooked.Cook until all sides are bown
Alternative cooking if you don’t have oven at home.

6. Cook the kebab’s directly over flame for a minute.
7. Heat a little oil seperately in a frying pan.
As soon as the kabab gets roasted remove it from the skewer and put into frying pan.
Fry well on all sides by rolling with wooden spoon. After frying, remove from heat and place kababs on absorbent paper or paper towel to drain out excess oil.
Serve on a bed of lettuce. garnish with tomatoes, onion rings or spicy green chutney.
Tips
Brush the foil papaer with oil before setting the kebab’s over it to avoid sticky of kebab’s.
While cooking the kebabs on the grill , turn the sides at 10 minutes interval so the kebab’s gets grilled evenly.
Ramadan Iftar recipes

The ninth month of the Islamic calender is known as Ramadan also written as ramazan, ramzan or Ramadhan.
Iftar is a meal that is served after the Magrib(evening prayer) azan to break the fast during the holy month of Ramadan.
There is intense spiritual meaning to Ramadan for those who fast. During this festival people practice generosity by being charitable,family-bonding by gathering around the iftar table, spirituality by praying, and self-control by practicing good manners.
All these habits build a feeling of peace, tranquility and self-satisfaction.
According to tradition, Prophet Muhammad broke fast with three dates , and hence muslims break their fast with dates and or water.
Many people enjoy the pleasure of hosting iftar parties at home where they get to greet their beloved friends,families and share the food together with the community.
A variety of foods are prepared for the iftar meal which includes fresh fruit ,juices , haleem , grilled kebabs , samosa , cutlets ,shahi tukda and many many more such interesting appetizers.

Sushi is a traditional food from Japan. It is a popular dish in other countries as well, such as America, Canada, and the UK, along with many other countries.
Sushi is made with specially prepared rice and it mostly contains raw or cooked seafood, and sometimes vegetables as well. I tried to prepared homemade Sushi roll

Ingredients
4 bread slices
¼ cup cream cheese
½ cup finely cut green capsicum juliennes (also know as juliennes )
½ cup yellow bell pepper juliennes
½ cup cucumber juliennes
½ cup carrot juliennes
¼ cup boiled corn
Salt to taste
chat masala powder to taste
Blanched spring onion stalk as required
For garnishing
Salad bouquet
Tomato ketchup as required
Direction || How to prepare Sushi rolls
Cut the sides of the bread.
Flatten the bread with the help of a rolling pin.
Apply cream cheese on this bread.
On these bread slices fill cucumber juliennes, carrot juliennes, green bell pepper juliennes, yellow bell pepper juliennes, boiled corn, salt, chat masala powder and make a roll.
Cut the sides of the roll.
Wrap the rolled bread with the help of blanched spring onion stalk. Make similar rolls.
Place the rolls on the plate and decorate it with Bouquet of Salad (Tie the carrot,cucumber,green capsicum and yellow bell pepper with the help of blanched spring onion stalk).
Decorate with tomato ketchup.
