Kids Creative Recipe Ideas

It gets very very tough and stressful to make your kids  eat healthy especially for those fussy and picky eaters. I have gone through this pain all these 8 years as my elder daughter is one of them. So to make my life little easier , I used some tricks or some creative food art to attract her to finish her meals.

I am sharing these creative recipes for kids with you all . They look so good that most children will be tempted to give them a go. It might be an extra efforts for the mom’s but trust me  I am sure you will be happy to see the end results of it.So do try these recipes with me and share me your experiences . 3 Stuffed Dosa recipes | Maggi Cheese Dosa | Cheese Sandwich Dosa | Aloo Masala Cheese Dosa

Dosa is a perfect healthy and filling breakfast or even as a snacks.You can always keep some dosa batter ready and handy in a refrigerator,so whenever required you can some quick dosa or idlis for your family.Normally,my kids don’t like idli’s, they like dosa.But I was quiet fed up of making same dosa for them like oats ,bread and plain dosa.So today, I thought of giving a twist to our normal dosa and made dosa by adding some maggi masala noodles filling loaded with full cheese. This Maggi cheesy dosa is delicious and has an amazing aroma.
It really turned out good and yummy , they just couldn’t stop eating. I was quiet happy with my experiments as i also tried making cheesy sandwich dosa and aloo masala cheese dosa.

Sev Puri Burgers

Sev Puri is another famous chaat snack from the lands of Mumbai. You can either prepare Dahi Sev batata puri those are prepared with round puri with masala stuffed in it or you can make it with flat puri.
I gave this recipe a little twist , a new form of having these puris so that the kids would just won’t resist it , yes the innovative Sev Puris Burgers
This recipe is absolutely simple to make if you have your puris, sev and chutney ready.

Sunny side Egg omlette

 

Omelette is one of the tastiest ,quickest and the most yummiest dish for breakfast with toasted bread slices.
The traditional Indian omlette with the least minimal ingredients is famous world wide. I have given a slight twist in this recipe by combining the omlette and bread and giving it a shape of a boat 🙂 My kids attacked the boat and finished it off within a sec 🙂

 Cheesy Potato Nuggets Tree

 

 

Potato Nuggets are yummy little bites which can be eaten as snack at any time of the day.

Filled with cheese makes it an amazing delicious cheesy bites which melts in the mouth.
They are great party starters especially for kids party.
You can prepared them in advance and refrigerated for a day or two and use it when required.

Falafel Rocks

Falafel made using chickpeas is a popular Middle Eastern chick pea patty. Falafel is stuffed in pita bread with salad and sauce. Falafel is quite popular as a replacement to meat and its high in protein.This is the based snacks across the world and my kids most favorite dish.

Trust me try this recipe at home and you never know you might get the full marks and a pat on your back as well:) Its very very simple and healthier too.
To make it more healthier option these can be baked instead of deep frying.You can also prepared all purpose flour(maida) and wheat (atta) ki roti if you fail to arrange any Pita bread.

If you are craving for pizza and don’t have time to prepare the dough and let’s try this bread pizza.

An easy quick and really delicious. It takes no more than 15 or 20 minutes,you can choose your favorite pizza toppings and is done, ready to be served. Not only kids but everybody loves pizza , so try this mini  bread pizza at home.I tried some innovative way of serving this pizza to my kids my creating a hut shape pizza and named it as Pizza hut .So do try this Pizza hut at home 🙂 and I am sure you and your family will love these. Egg Broccoli Train Roll (Egg Brocoli Bhurji Wrap)

Egg Bhurji is nothing but a Indian scrambled eggs, its one of the favorite breakfast for kids.This recipe is super easy to prepare but I added just a twist to it by including some veggie like broccoli to make it more healthier. Broccoli egg roll combination works mind blowing , the kids will not find any difference in the taste as such.(For all those veggie moms you can try out this same recipe by replacing the eggs with paneer)To encourage kids to finish their roll especially those fussy kids like my elder one , you can design the rolls in the shape of train and present it to your kids.
